we do use aerials whenever a property is waterfront or waterview..... also if there is a luxury home with a very complex roof system and many valleys....it shows the true magnitude of the home..... otherwise, each elevation taken with a camera is a fraction of the dynamics an aerial would provide.....

Since most of our properties are acreage, they always have aerial photos and maps.

Yes, especially in Naples due to our many, many waterways, beaches, islands and nature preserves. We have some incredibly talented photographers that we hire.

Hi John - We have on occasion with luxury properties or acreages. I think it's going to become more common as drone photography gets more popular.

I have done a few aerials, when backing to a golf course, or have great mountain views.

Thank you all for your answers and insights, I have a handful of listings that are on 2-3 acres and another on 35 acres, I have chosen aerial for the large lot and one of the smaller lots because of outbuildings and pool that will be better shot form above.

I don't. In most of this area there are too many airspace restrictions unless I could hitch a ride in a police helicopter.

Only when it helps sell a large lot property or to show proximty to the ocean, a golf course or another San Diego landmark. Drones are becomming standard pretty quick here, so I'm sure it'll become a silly trend for even condos.

I have a Drone, but it keeps running into things, like my house, the fence, my leg, so until I master it, my Drone will not leave my yard. Therefore I don't offer aerial photos.

I haven't had a listings that it would benefit yet. If I did I have a source to get them done.

Yes, if it has a large enough lot or a location that is close to some striking other features.

I do not, as I have not had a house that would benefit from it. To me, for aerial shots you need a large lot. Most tract homes don't have that, so for me a still photo of the front is sufficient.

I would only use them for a larger property or for showing acreage. Haven't had the need so far.
Corrine Guest has one & does them.
