Shane,
The reason you see that is because you are logged in. If you were to log out and then access your page, those fields would say 'email address' 'name', etc, in order to prompt someone to add that information.
Again, you only see your own name and email address in there because you are logged in. Hope that makes sense.

Shane, Grace fielded your question very well. And I agree with Fred Griffin - get a paid membership. Contact Bob Stewart - send him an email and ask if he has any dicount codes or other promotions this month you can use.

Hi, Shane.
Pay for the upgrade to Rainmaker. If you post and comment regularly, you will rack up points in a hurry. Once you get to 500,000 the site becomes free.
It is worth the money!

Hi Shane!
Yeah, unless you havea premium version of Active Rain (you know paid), you have limited access and availability on the site. For example, I can write blogs, but they will never be seen by the public. I can answer questions, but ONLY in the member area--not in the general public areas. And the information on my profile is very restricted because, frankly, if you want to be seen or get information to the public, you're gonna need to pay.
So yes, you are correct, you should have these bits in your profile, but only if you are an upgraded member.

Not sure what the question is, Shane, but welcome to ActiveRain. It's all pretty automated. Are you wondering how we communicate here without each other's email addresses? Please explain further. We love to help!

I hope you'll enjoy the site and decide to pay to be a rainmaker. It becomes free again once you reach 500,000 points. But well worth it until then.

Yes, they have to add it I believe just like you'd sign a letter. Bob said it depends on if you are signed in or out (like a visitor would see it).
Welcome.

Welcom, Shaun. You are making a great investment. And I would pay for the Rainmaker account so the ublic can read all of your great writing and learn more about you, your community, and your business. Not quite sure about the issue you are asking about but suspect it's due to having a free account
