The old saying is the best compliment one can give, is a referral. However, i have a home seller who have sold 4 homes and purchased 4 more homes from me over the last 20 years and once a month brings me chocolate chip cookies.

I have some nice compliments over the past 46 years of lending,but the most satisfying was the time I had a young couple that came in for some mortgage advise...... After several years of saving tips from a car detailing business,they finally purchased a $75,000. home FHA. At the closing table they were both crying and could not thank me enough. That was 20 plus years ago, and they still send me referral business. I have closed deals from $50,000. to $12 million,but none were as satisfying as that young couple. Some times it's more than just a job!
