Jackson Stieb that's a great question for your Broker, this can be a big violation in your state.

Jackson,
Each brokerage has their own rules. Some brokers you don't even get your name on the sign, others it is very small. For example, Berkshire Hathaway signs, you cannot read the agent's name or number without a magnifying glass!
My sign has my brokerage name, my name prominently displayed as well as my phone number. Both as large as will fit on the sign! No requirement for BRE/DRE# unless you are a team (new rule). If it's just you, the rules are different.
My advise, drive around and look at the signs in your area. I personally would NEVER work for brokerage that requires my info in small print or not at all!!!

We having a bit of a dispute about this in our state right now, hopefully we will not have to go out and get new signs.

That must be in your local reg's somewhere. In CT, broker's name has to appear on all advertising.

The answer to this question is different in every state, so i'll defer to the California agents.

We have to have the brokerage name on our signs, but we can use our own phone numbers. Every state is different.

Have to include your BRE number in all advertising. Some ads require saying the word "agent" and in some cities, they charge extra for sign on lawn privileges.

Must have brokerage name , brokerage telephone number unnecessary. Advertise yourself! Brokerage address on business cards is required.

Carefully follow your state regulations.
Many ActiveRain bloggers do not have the required information in their blog signatures.

For CA check with your broker or even with the CA real estate commission. Here in NH the Brokerage name has to be on every piece of marketing and be larger than your own name

I am not familiar with California law on this issue but my jurisdiction has some laws and rules that address this type of situation.

Jackson Stieb - I am sure there are different guidelines, not only from board but also from the franchise if you are working with them.
Best to work with the preferred vendors to get the signs/cards done.

May I suggest you reach out to the Department of Real Estate in CA to get the real answers from the ones who police the signs instead of asking and getting possibly wrong answers here...just a thought, Endre
