Jackson,

Each brokerage has their own rules.  Some brokers you don't even get your name on the sign, others it is very small.  For example, Berkshire Hathaway signs, you cannot read the agent's name or number without a magnifying glass!

My sign has my brokerage name, my name prominently displayed as well as my phone number.  Both as large as will fit on the sign!  No requirement for BRE/DRE# unless you are a team (new rule).  If it's just you, the rules are different.

My advise, drive around and look at the signs in your area.  I personally would NEVER work for brokerage that requires my info in small print or not at all!!!

Have to include your BRE number in all advertising. Some ads require saying the word "agent" and in some cities, they charge extra for sign on lawn privileges.

For CA check with your broker or even with the CA real estate commission. Here in NH the Brokerage name has to be on every piece of marketing and be larger than your own name

Jackson Stieb - I am sure there are different guidelines, not only from board but also from the franchise if you are working with them.

Best to work with the preferred vendors to get the signs/cards done.
