I used to watch AlJam - but it's gone now - it was ok but a bit too much on the middle eastern issues.
Now it's CNN and I abhore them - I'm so tired of so called news journalists interjecting their opinions and inflections in their reports.
I want the news, not their opinions :(

I find it all too much. Its not news anymore, it's drama. If I am in the house around dinner time I will turn on the evening news with Lester Holtz I believe it's NBC.
In my car I listen to the BBC satellite news channel.

I cut cable last year so the television is rarely on. I'm sure there are many who like to draw conclusions based on viewing preferences but most people are more complex than that. Or at least I hope so.

I am not a fan of the news. I generally do not watch the news. As for what it says about my personality. Yes, it says a lot. It says that I avoid all the gloom and doom that the news is all about.

I stay away from modern news broadcasting and structure. I do however read five newspapers a day and some random magazines to stay current. What it says about me? I am using what I have while I can productively

I watch the locals. We have so many positives around here that it's not so depressing like the National and Cable programs. They are mostly just "Talking Heads" and not NEWS anymore.

There isn't any mainstream network i can completely trust, they play the news that fits their politcial outlook or needs. Most often when national news i watch the first 10 minutes to get the headlines on ABC or NBC. During the day i used to check out Fix news, but even they seem slanted towards and against certain GOP politicians

I have come to hate watching the news on TV. It's a far fetch from journalism these days. I prefer to get my news online or in the newspaper. I can pick and choose what I want to read about.
What does it say about my personality? I hate drama and sensationalism.

According to 'them' it is true. Certain personality types watch different stations along with your political leanings.
I cut cable also last year & don't miss the added drama from that.

I don't like watching any "news" stations on TV because I think they are all entertainment shows now. They are not objective, well-researched, news stories. I try to avoid TV news and get my news elsewhere - radio, online, etc. I also just canceled my newspaper, although that was more about the crummy customer service/billing process and the proliferation of ads, and lack of articles.

I watch a local channel for weather. I read the local paper's website and I get most of my national news from the Internet. I like the drudge report

I watch all the above including Fox, CNN, HNN, PBS, ABC, CBS, NBC, radio, internet. Diversity and that does speak to me.

I watch a varitey os stations...I don't care what people may "Think" it says about my personality.

I listen to NPR. And yeah, there is an NPR stereotype just like a Fox News stereotype!

When I used to watch TV news, it was a combo of CNN, Fox News and The Daily Show & Colbert Report. I like to get news from both sides of the political spectrum to get a somewhat balanced idea of the story. Now I tend to get it online, mainly from foreign sources without much concern for US politicing.

I switch around Peter Mohylsky so that I get different perspectives...it's amazing how the same story can be spun in so many directions

I do not watch TV at all, so what that say about my personality?
:)
I get news from a redio when I drive my daughter to school in the morning and internet sources.

Usually NBC or FOX. I think they tend to be a little more conservative in their reporting

I watch NBC mostly. Some NPR and BBC. Don't what that says about me.
I don't watch FOX, and I know what that says about me.

I dont watch tv news, they are all about sound bites with little substance.

Hi, Peter.
I skim the headlines of several dozen News Websites in the morning, and again in the evening.
About a dozen Financial papers (WSJ, Bloomberg, Forbes, etc.)
The headlines of a dozen "Conservative" sites (NewsMax, The Hill, American Thinker, InfoWars).
The headlines from another dozen news sites like Drudge, Daily Caller, Jerusalem Post, Washington Times, Daily Mail UK, etc.
* I also look at about three dozen Real Estate Sites and Tech Sites.
What does it say about me? That I want to be informed and on top of what is happening, without the brainwash/indoctrination from TV news, New York Times, NPR, Fox News, USA Today, WaPo, HuffPo, etc.

PBS only.
If a program has commercials, then they are trying to "sell" me into watching, meaning usually bias to keep me scared, worried, entertained or angry! None of those things make "news reporting".

Really don't need Klystron 9 to confirm what endless summer in Florida means.
