I have used Juwai. I had a year subscription. I dealt with an english speaking salesperson from California to get me signed up, when you enter your listings you can select english. When the chinese look at them they can change it to Chinese if need be. It was easy to use.

I have not, and if they did not speak English, it would be quite difficult.

Thanks for your responses everyone. I know someone in Canada who is trying them out, I'll post if I get more information. They have an interesting service, the listings get translated as well as any emails to and from buyers. This way you can actually start an initial conversation regarding a listing without a translator.

No we do not use this service. If there is local Chinese newspaper in your market, you should try to use that instead.

I have not tried that Tim Shepard. I'll be interested in reading about your experience if you explore it.

Juwai is very expensive so we don't use them. Also, the only way it would be worth it is if you live in an area where a large majority of your foreign buyers are from China. Most Chinese buyers are placed by referrals.
Eileen Hsu works in Manhattan. She is the top Chinese speaking agent on the internet. She promotes herself in China on Chinese speaking sites. It is worth it to her to work that market because she speaks some of the languages and she works in Manhattan, which is a place Chinese like to move to.
But here in Florida one out of every 4 buyers is a foreign buyer, well, it dropped slightly to 24%.
28% of those are secured by agents via personal contacts.
27% are past clients.
23% are from online marketing - I believe most of that is in their own respective languages.
But in 2015 only 4% of all foreign buyers buying in Florida were Chinese.
Canadians are the #1 buyers for Florida even when their dollar is weak. In 2014 32% of foreign buyers were from Canada and that of course went way down as their dollar weakened. This is the best place to spend your time and money since you don't have to know another language.
After that Venezuela is by far the most in 2015 as people are escaping the conditions in that country. They were the highest percentage of foreign buyers in 2015 at 18%.
Latin America, together with the Carribean accont for 56% of international buyers.
Where do they move to? By far the most sought after real estate in Florida by international buyers is Miami at 36%. This matches with the Latin American numbers. The reset of areas are quite small percentages.
The panhandle is not even on the list of places foreigners buy.
Chinese buy in small numbers in Miami, Orlando, Kissimmee,
Chinese bought most in Bradenton, Sarasota, Venice.

No. Do research on how many Chinese buy and where? It is important to find out. What I do know as the answer is Las Vegas and Hawaii. A

No I have not, so far have not ventured into the foreign markets, though once in a while I do get inquiries from Chinese companies about representing them in timber deals.

My impression is that it's pretty expensive.
A few months back, RealBird ran a survey of its customers to find out if they would pay more to add Juwai. Apparently there was very little interest.

Haven't heard of it. I don't market to overseas persons (I even block China, Russia and about 115 other countries from accessing my site).
Might be a good blog topic once you find out more.
