In my area, stores were closed on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday too.

Quite a few of the stores in my county were closed on Easter. I was glad to see that. Employees deserve to spend the time with their families.

If I'd seen one, I would have been surprised. It didn't seem to me that too many merchants actually did shut down for Easter.

I saw several the week before Easter announcing they would be closed on Easter Sunday. I thought that was nice for the employees.
