Most people don't realize this, but when you click that "like" button, your response is automatically sent to that other F place, the FBI. And it also goes into your permanent record.

No, my 'liking' a comment or a question does not show up in my FB feed Lyn Sims.  Yes, there are times when I 'like' the question and do 'upvote' the comments that I like also.

I might scan some answers when I have time. I will like funny, creative and very good answers to questions. I will also like a question. The likes here don't transfer to FB at all. 

When I ask a question, I normally go back to all the individuals that took the time to respond and I Upvote. For the person asking, I place my response and I like as well.

Upvotes and Likes are easy to give out if I'm not in a rush.  And that's a good question about FB.  Hmmmmmmm . . .

The "like" feature here is similar code to that found on FB but not directly linked to FB.  So no, liking a comment won't put up a post on facebook saying you like it.

I tend to like good questions, and "upvote" my favorite comment on a post.

I sometimes forget to ike the question.  I don't usually forget the upvote though.

I can like the question.  Is there a way to like the answer.  Is upvoting the way to like?  I am not sure on this one.

It only shows up here in AR and doesn't get you any extra points either so those that do it are just showing support and love.

Like the comment.  I rarely remember to like the question.  I like ALL respondents to my questions, as an acknowledgement that I read their response.  

If I like either I hit upvote for the comment and like for the question,

I will like comments. Occasionally I like the question. But I don't believe it shows up in an FB feed.

I try to respond to other"s questions and blogs if possible.  Sometimes I forget.

Upvote.  I don't think you can share a comment by itself on social media but you certainly can do it with the entire question.

 I wish that they would move the like button down into the dialog box somewhere between subscribe to answers and post. I think it would make it more cognizant and  easier for folks to like.

Good morning Lyn. If I like the question and feel I can contribute something, I will comment and like the question.

I do hit the like for comments and questions when they strike my fancy!  And I just hit the like for yours!

If I like the Question I give it a Like and give an answer.  If I like a response (although I don't always read every response) I will upvote and maybe make a comment.

I like the answer (or question) w/ the regular thumbs up/upvote and not it doesn't show up on FB.  But, if you use the FB share button then it would (if it's public and not members only).

Yes I read the question that I am answering and yes I try and like the question if I answer it. 

Just getting back into AR after a prolonged absence (missed this platform very much, but life got in the way), I was very pleased to see the Q & A had been added.  Thus far, I find both questions and answers valuable.  Some questions are more in depth in nature and there is true wisdom in some of the comments.

I usually "like" the questions and answers I really like and respond to the ones I really love!

I know you get points when you LIKE the question, but don't think it affects anything on FB.

I mark it "like" and if there are links, explore them.

On those rare occasions when I ask a question, I upvote the answers.

When I first "found" this section, I used to like each question, I answered. Now I'm more selective.

I don't always have time to read each answer to questions asked by others. When I do read, I sometimes will upvote an answer.

Unless shared, I don't believe there is any connection with FB.

I had not thought of the FB thing.

I used to 'like' all of the questions. I stopped when I received comments that I was spreading too many 'likes'. 

I "like" the things that I like. In my experience, only "liking" a blog post gets posted to FB.

I find this a good place to get good answers from around the country.

I do indeed like the question and upvote the answers that touch me in some way.  I do not feed them to facebook.

I LIKE any Q&A or BLOG I reply to, or I wouldn't be commenting or LIKE-ing to begin with. I feel the poster deserves the LIKE if they get my comment, to help boost their points and post visibility.
