Clients and colleagues who send projects my way.
Most of my business is repeat and referral clients. I also do quite a bit each year from internet leads.

Mine have come mostly from referrals.
Sellers: Mainly Referrals | Buyers: Referrals/Lead Generation
It is a mix of all of the above Jeff. The longer I am in this business the more past clients are coming around I have noticed.

My #1 is my website. #2 is realtors (and other complementary businesses), #3 is past customers.
BTW, we don't do any "lead gen" in the way that I hear realtors doing it. We are not making outgoing calls...unless it's to return a call we missed.
Past client referrals is a major resource for us. We treat our clients the way we want to be treated and it works!
I would hope that the agents who have been the business for 20 years or more would have a healthy referral base established, and therefore would generate the majority of their income from their past clients.

Now I get both - buyers and sellers referrals.
Jeff - Right now lead generation, but I am trying to make it more by referral of past clients.
Past and present clients - made up 80% of my business last year.
Most of our business is referrals - either from past clients or from referral/networking partners.
Nearly zero from in-house referrals or from lead generation.

the largest percentage of MY personal business is referral. However my office is about half internet leads at this point. I don't work those except the rarest of occassions when all my agents are busy.

Sphere, almost 100%. Picked up a couple buyers from the sign on a listing. Getting more into the advertising this year though, will see what that pulls.
Most buyer leads come from lead generation (primarily my web site) while most listings come from past customers and referrals.
