Will,
I would use branded colors, i.e. the color of your brand. A

I have been mailing for a specific property with a large black envelope. I can't gauge results yet bc it's fresh -- but I loved it. So we shall see! :)

Gotta admit, I open the colored ones as long as they're not from a SPAMMER.

White. I wouldn't know where to get a bunch of colored #10 envelopes.
On personal notes, sometimes a colored envelope if it came with the card.

White though I did try the color envelope thing. No track-able result, and I felt sorta hokey doing it.

Premium paper only...color does not matter. I have used black, translucent, white, ivory are the ones that get the most attention.

If I had the choice, I'd use purple envelope's - my brand's colors. But, most of the cards we do are from SendoutCards and I don't have control over that.

It depends but usually beige or another off white color so the envelope stands out. Hand addressed and stamped with regular stamps.

I use mainly white but make sure it is never a "business" envelope - "happy sized" envelopes get opened first and with positive expectations!

If we are using company envelopes they are white, and 'note card' size, not letter size - the note card is branded with the company logo. If I'm mailing a personal note, where I make my own cards, it's all different colors. If we are sending out mailers for 'Home Sold' or 'Home Listed' it is colored postcards on heavy stock Will Hamm.

If I use white it's oversized. Otherwise I suggest investing in premium envelopes at a paper warehouse so your mail is unique looking in the box

I dont use any envelopes for any part of my business. I write thank you cards at closing, they are white I guess. When I mail out flyers, I go with postcards.
