I like EDDM because of the cost and it gets my postcards to EVERYONE in a partiicular area based on the postal carrier routes. While they can provide some demographics you cannot target by them since they are based on the postal routes

If you have a good working relationship with a title company, define which fields (owner name, address, property value, age of property, loan values, etc.) you want them to pull, and they can print out address labels for you to send to select prospects.

Allie Gosselin -- You should be able to use Every Door Direct mail at just under .50 cents per card 5x8 for design, print and mail ... the problem with Every door is that you cannot drill down to income demographic bc you have choose a usps delivery area.

Choosing your mailing list is going to cost you about .85 cents each for the same..... Trust me, you are better off with Every door...

I use VistaPrint it is a public company, reputable. I use them for postcards and you can send them a spreadsheet with names. That costs like ~50 cents with their bulk mail permit.   I chose to print my owe label and mail by my bulk mail permit to get price down.  My cost is 0.15 for large card, and 0.31 for bulk mail.  The catch is use them when there is a card sale. Big post cards can cost 50-75 cents elsewhere.

Hi Allie, I use smartzip but it is VERY expensive.  USPS Every door direct mail is actually not that broad

Allie Gosselin I'd say, check EDDM with your local post office, if you want as geographic farm.

I tie my into Market Leader with email campaigns as well as direct marketing.   I just get the postcards I design ff of Market Leader and then hand print the addresses on the back. .  works somewhat well, better to use direct mail in a farm area or past clients

If the targets are already home owners you can make a list from the tax records. Our county lets us download the tax records to excel. All my mailings go to very targeted home owners.

I have nothing to add here. I do not direct mail market - at least not in bulk.  I've enjoyed reading what others are using. I wish you all the best in whatever you decide to do.
