Peter, I think QR codes have pretty much come and gone. Don't really see much of them around in real estate in my area. Never did adopt them and it didn't impact my businss one iota. I think of them as one of those shiny new objects that didn't last.

Did it & it totally flopped. The codes register on any 'looks or reads' & I haven't had any. Too bad really.

My RM website generates one for each listing & we're supposed to slap them all over the planet but no one looks. Pulls up an online listing brochure of sorts.

Not lately, but I did use one as a sign rider with a virtual tour.  Someone pulled it up, called his agent and bought the place. 

My office was using them for a while. That was two years ago. We quite doing it, because we didn't get a response from them. I think QR codes were a flash in the pan. I don't see anyone using them in my market and even outside of the RE profession I'm not seeing a wide use of them. 

They were a fad that died out.  You needed a special app to handle them, no thanks!

Peter Mohylsky  i started to use them years ago .I even put them on signs ;but I think they fizzled out in Real Estate . so my answer to you is NO they do not work

I have used QR codes at two different periods and did not have any success with them in my area. I no longer use them.

Peter Mohylsky I think QR Codes are a passing fad. I don't see them much anymore.

They didn't really catch on in North America like they did overseas.  I was quite surprised to see our ViaRail using them on train tickets!

I tried using them..briefly. Too many people didn't know what they were.

I never did use them.  I believe they died a natural death. I like how Nina Hollander described them ... shinny new objects. 

I always use them on the entrance sign at our subdivisions in place of brochures...

In our opinion, they were done and gone 5 minutes after they came on the scene.  The telling part was when someone asked one of our clients why she spoiled the ad with ants on the page...You had to upload different apps for different QR codes, and stay very still to capture the image...A

I do use QR codes for the explicit purpose of mobile devices finding the movie tour of the home. I do not know if the user scanned the QR (you have to PAY for that report) or typed in the URL, but we can apply common sense. The outcome is, 80% of viewership of these limited access movies is from mobile devices.

No, it is completely discarded in my market, no one is interested or impressed. 

Some people and companies use QR codes.  It is not very popular in my area.
