I only know of 3 people from Illinois including myself who regularly post on Active Rain Chrissi. I wish there was more activity.

To tell the truth, I had no clue, but since CA is very populated and housing prices are high, we got a lot of realtors.

Good point!  I guess they realized the value of this before anyone else.  I don't think there are many active members in Wisconsin.

That's a good question! I'm from Indiana.

That is a good question, I have wondered why there are not more people from Virginia on here.  I used to live in Florida and now in Virginia and have no explanation for the difference.

That's interesting because I don't seem to see that.  But, I will say that in general, there are more people here from higher population states and I guess those are some of them.

I always thought the majority were from Texas.  I'll have to pay more attention

I think I see about 50 or so in Georgia who are regulars on here.

Well Cali is a huge state. I wonder what the percentages of participation miught be based on the numbver of Realtors by state?

The rest of us are to busy selling Real Estate.... SORRY, JUST KIDDING!

With our housing prices it is not surprising. 

Now that is the million dollar question.  California is big ... while there are many members ... in numbers most are not very active.

I believe the big three are California, Florida and Texas, with pockets in the new England, DC and AZ areas.

Take a closer look and you will see a wonderful bunch of us from beautiful Colorado. 

CA and FL have a huge number of agents so that could be part of it. I don't know about Arizona and Illinois. Maybe they are better at inviting each other.

Not everyone, I am from NH, but yes i do see a great deal from those places. I am always happy to to get to interact and learn from agents in other parts of the country.

I was not aware of this before.

I don't see that many active bloggers on AR from Illinois.  There are a handful (two of us are from the same office), if you look at the list of top Illinois bloggers... you only have to go about 20 deep before you delve into non-active-bloggers.

There do seem to be an inordinate number of active AR bloggers on both the left and right coasts, and far less activity inland.  Go figure.

It must be the sunshine and good weather.

Some of the top people on the Leaderboard are located in the DC Metro area but this area does not have a large number of active bloggers. Mystery?
