Call the previous agent and offer them a referral fee for the complete lowdown on the expired client that you're seeking. I'm almost positive they'd be more than willing to help you out. 

Had the service and the telephone numbers are no improvement. Many are still bogus or disconnected.

Fred Hafdelin - heard good things about RedEx. If your business plan is to work on Expired Listing, you surely should use one such service.

I personally used RedX and they ended up refunding my money.  After tech followed up on my concerns they realized I was too remote for their system at the time.  Have not been back but found it reputable on their part to refund.  Mark

I dont think we have enough expireds for something like this.

I have used Redex but calling is not how I contact them. So few people have land lines anymore more, but they do scrub and notate numbers on DNC list. They do a fairly good job of providing the current address of owners who have already moved.

I've not heard of Red Ex.  For a sec, I thought it was a typo.

Used them about 5 years ago.  Weren't the greatest then.  I think it depends on the city you are in.

I have found that most agents send snail mail or call them.  Have you tried knocking on their doors instead? Less time consuming, unless they invite you in to talk about their home...

Not a fan of cold-calling, I would never do it.

The company I was with a few years ago gave us Red-X expired listing leads. There are contact numbers but half of the leads are on the do not contacted list. 

Hi Fred I'm normally not negative but strongly dislike the premise of phone or door knock to expireds in 2016.  Does this mean I don't try no, there are two self addressed handwritten letters ready to go out tomorrow with a peanuts stamp.  One of the sellers I found his email online and sent him a quick email telling him about a record breaking listing I just sold in his neighborhood and asking him for an interview.  I feel that this less invasive approach is more respected by your new potential client.  

Val Evans has a good idea, and it may be easier than cold-calling expireds .
