I don't find being on the home page that exciting. It's momentary. Quite frankly it happens frequently with my questions because so few people actually ask questions!

Yes and I think they are pointless. I am not stopping what I am doing and running over to my computer to log on to see my post in lights (because the page moves very quickly). This is one idea that needs to go away.

Sometimes I check to see what made it to the homepage. I don't get too warm and fuzzy.

It's like the mailman dropping off the mail.

It's nice to get a good email and I always look to see which comment/question generated the notice.

Any peer acknowledgement, no matter how small, is appreciated but it would be nice if they included a link to the home page. Who can find the home page?

I get them all the time and ignore them.  By the time I get to the home page at my convenience, I don't see the item there.  It must timeout very quickly.

I felt sorry for someone that was complaining that they didn't get featured recently & honestly his post was horrible. Mediocre at best. How do you leave a comment that doesn't seem like you're a troll?

it's always nice to receive that message, but I've never seen anything on the homepage!!  it must be 5 seconds of fame...ha

I am happy when I get comments, being on homepage as well as featured blogs.

I wish they stop sending it.  No more increase in url links, calls...

It is always nice to see one of my blogs on the Home Page. It hasnt happened in a while though... I am more excited when consumers see them and call to hire me to buy or sell a home based on seeing my blog here in Active Rain. 

But of course...  

I just ignore the message.

Sometimes I am surprised by it, but not really. I am happy when my blog is featured, as that is rare.
