Richard - Boy, I sure hope not. There are a lot of ways client's info or identity can be stolen these days for sure.

Richard Robibero, ABR, SRS it is always a good idea to keep it under lock and key!
And I do not think the CRM company is going to steal my data....

No I don't keep private information in my files so I have not worries. I stay out of the loop and let the clients deal directly with the closer or lender when it comes to secured information.

Absolutely. I think one of the websites I once had probably harvested my leads and sold them.

Richard Robibero, ABR, SRS I think, it is important to safeguard client info.

It crosses my mind and that is why I keep my database and customer info in only 2 places. My own computer and Infusionsoft.

I do not use any apps with my CRM, and would imagine an app would be easy to hack.

If the cyber theives are digging down that far, then it would be the end of the world as we know it, or there would be cyber criminals wasting a lot of time on small fry.

Nope, not at all. I figure any service will use the data they have access to. I'd be more worried about all the free electronic medical record sites for doctors to get in compliance with obamacare

No. I am not afraid, if it is, from many other sources besides me and the RE transaction involved with the clients I work for.

Richard,
Never had an issue. I don’t put my clients' information in any online system.

You can count on every crm keeping the info for later use, afterall, there are no laws against it and there is money to be made. Plus, if you use windows 10, every keystroke you make is transmitted to M$ and stored on their servers and is now theirs to use as they see fit.
When you turn on your computer, there is no security.
edit; the info is not being stolen, we are giving it to them

Richard Robibero, ABR, SRS We do have to be careful. Everyone is susceptible to be threatened by identify theft. It's a shame, but that is the society we live in today.

There ae some very secure systems out there. You have to find one you feel comfortable with and then consider long term implications.

If the app is FREE, you can be assured the data is being being leveraged.
