When I read your question, thought that very same thing.   When you call, and get no answer, or a call two days later....

I am going to resolved to not have any more peeves for pets, just dogs for me this year.

Lack of professionalism/ethics.  I can deal with agents that are not trained but I cannot deal with agents who lie, cheat, etc.

I'm with you.  People who don't return calls promptly.

Mine is similar, those agents that dont answer their phones, dont return messages and then there are the ones that do, but are so rude you wished they didnt.

If I had to pick one, and only one, it would be the advertising that is so obviously out of compliance - no brokers name, numbers claimed that bear no correlation to actual numbers in the MLS, "I'll buy your house" (sure you will for a hefty discount), etc. - that is designed to get that agents phone to ring.  Starting a relationship due to a false premise is "distasteful"....

It's either intentionally deceptive - or it's due to ignorance.  Either one is bad...

Not answering a phone/text/email and not returning them. It become especially irritating if you are in escrow with such agent. 

Agents not returning calls and texts.

That is mine too. I am willing to wait a little while but when I never get a response I wonder how thta agent stays in business.

Lack of respect among agents

I have the same pet peeve, when someone does not return a phone call, text or email in a timely manner. It drives me crazy.

I am over pet peeves bc I can't push a rope. BUT I wonder if you know my favorite cousin up there in Yuba! I think she practically runs the town, LOL! I will drop you a line.

Dealing with some of the agents is one of the most difficult aspects of the real estate business.

My #1 pet peeve is agents complaining about other agents.  One would think that with so many "incompetent" agents, everyone who is good should be market leaders and capitalizing like crazy!!!  A

My biggest pet peeve is "cheap" agents who won't spend a penny properly marketing their clients' homes.

Agents who don't know the rules and make gross erors.

It is variations on the same theme. The “other” agent. Whether it is ego, lack of communication, etc. other agents sometimes do more to hinder deals than help. That said, there are many, many agents who are excellent to deal with.

A lot happened in Miami. 

And nobody likes it.

Corey - Off the top of my head, I think I am right there with you on the slow, or no response from other agents. I am sure if I thought about it for a while, I could come up with a lot more pet peeves as well.

Real estate gurus that claim they've sold a gazillion over the years and act like their sh*t doesn't stink.  Then they come up with a method or style or package and try to sell it to us suckers.  Hate em all!  

Not returning phone calls.

30% of buyer agents fail to show up for the shceduled appointment. 

40% of buyer agents don't read the listing details.

100% of the time I smile and keep on trucking and add to 'The List."

Perhaps you are unaware of what happens on the listing agent side created by other buyer agents. I thought you should know.
