This is an easy question .....
Owners that follow you around and absolutely will not shut up.

The homeowner being there and getting in the way of a sale. "Oh and this is where we burried fluffy when he died of that mysterious cancer we're sure came from the UFO landing base over on yonder hilltop."
Ok, maybe they aren't that bad, but I've heard stories of ones that are close to that!

I showed a home where the owners stayed parked in their loungers watching loud TV the whole time. Not helpful in presenting their home!

Paul S. Henderson, Realtor, Broker, Tacoma Washington I'd say, dogs and next - cats.
Once couple of cats sneaked out of house while I was showing the home and had tough time getting them back in.

I dread activated alarms because I have to locate them in a few seconds, follow the proper sequence and hold my breath or the alarm will sound and then go through it all over again when I leave.

Showing an investment tenant occupied property, and especially if the tenant was never notified!

Locks that the key sticks in. If we can't get in the damn door, that is not good!

Paul,
Exotic pets, which totally distract the buyers and alarm systems.

I do not think i'm that dreadful of anything or anyone. Pets and alarms are usually disclosed.

Odors.
That sticky dog odor.
That neglected and untrained cat odor.
When was the last time you opened a window odor.
And the always favorite, "Don't tell me I can't smoke in my own home!"

Paul - Alarm systems always make my heart beat a little faster. Sometimes they are complicated, and other times the listing agent doesn't explain everything about how to turn it off. Anything else, like pets, etc., I can handle.

Had to think about this, as I do enjoy showing homes. HOWEVER, this past year showed in the mountains and had several homes on CLIFFS with no guard rails, and am scared to death of heights! Next time I will refer them out.

Richard hit the nail on the head! Owners who insist on being tour guides!

Lack of marketing material in a home from the listing agent--hard to answer your cients' questions. I also hate when a home has no lights on in anticipation of our arrival and I need to waste time looking for switches instead of showing the home.

Good morning Paul. If I was in the business, it would be if there weren't enough homes on the market for my clients.

I agree with Jack Lewitz . Once I couldn't locate the supra.. had to text the selling agent she said it's on the gate. Well, that gate was open when I arrived so I missed it.
My other issue would be loose pets, kids and open back door all at once.

I dread to show houses in general! ( just kidding:). Some showings can be fun and memorable.

Paul, You hit one of them. I hate going into a house and having to find the control box and deactivate the alarm. I REALLY don't have it in my daily tour schedule to spend time with a cop explaining that I'm an agent showing the home and couldn't get the alarm to keep from tripping.

When the place is dirty & smells. Photos look good & you get there & it's a complete horror story. Then .... they want you to take off your shoes so you can clean up their kitchen floor with your socks.

No show.... Oh, I forget or do not even call back cancelling it.....
Waste of your time.
