I've always been a listing agent.... worked buyers during my first year in the business.... caught on quickly that more money can be made as a listing agent....and then I found new construction.... eventually, that was all I wanted to list.... 

Always favored listings to buyers. More control of my time and more productive use of it

We are both, but it seems this year we worked with more buyers than sellers.

Im more of a listing Agent but I do think a buyers agent is just as important for a Buyer who can be a babe in the woods sometimes. Filling out the paperwork is just one of the functions of a good Buyers Agent. They negotiate,advise and have the experience, that most Buyers do not have, to keep the Buyers out of trouble in a transaction. 

I don't know how or when it happened, but suddenly I am a buyers agent...

It varies back and forth. I try to work with the best clients or those who need help so I take the clients as they come.

I'm really about 50/50. In my area we do everything. I even have commercial listings. 

It shifts from year to year according to market conditions. During 2015, I was more of a listing agent.

I run 50/50 most of the time

both....but thats because we have to buy before we can sell :)  but i prefer listing and selling..but we need buyers to complete the circle lol

I always liked working with buyers when I was actively selling. I liked seeing their excitement.

Neither -- I am concentrating on referrals and consulting.  I love to  place referrals in other countries for the clients of agents in the US and Canada

It's changed over the years as the market has changed. I went from buyers agent early on, to mostly a lister, and for the past few years I'm about 50/50.

Definitely our focus was to list to last 75% to 25%.  We represented buyer developpers and we often found the properties going door to door looking at buildings and lots.  A

I probably have done more buyers side deals but lately have been quite a bit of the listing side Debbie. It seems that listings lead to more deals plus that sign helps. Your thoughts?

Debbie - Well I have always considered myself a buyer's agent, but this year I sold more homes than ever. Perhaps I am evolving.

I am typically half and half, which is good, I like the different job duties! 

I'm a listing agent but work as a buyers agent for past clients, referrals and now from the Internet. I'm working 65-70% of my business as a listing agent.

I do both.  I normally like being a listing agent, but our market is slow here and properties are staying on the market for long periods of time.  Financially, it is best to be working with buyers.

Definitely more of a listing agent than buyers agent. I do handle the buyer agent task for referrals and sellers i have sold their homes for.

75% listing and 25% buyer. Hard to do only one. Two buyer's I'm working with now also have to sell, but most of my sellers are relocating, going to rent, going to assisted living, moving in with relatives, etc.

At the end of the year, my business is usually about 50/50. Some years it leans more one way or another. This year, much more buyer oriented because we are so tight on inventory and people aren't listing.

As I'm not an agent, neither.  For flooring, the money is with the buyers, so that's what I tend to do more of.

Good morning Debbie. At the time I was in the business I was both, there really was a distinction of one or the other at the time.

Both. During this time of the year. Buyers. I enjoy both. 

I am a good buyer/tenant rep, but listing is my preference. ;)
