The restaurant we are going to has a buffet of all kinds of stuff from Turkey to Prime Rib.  We probably will skip the turkey as we often have turkey breast that we cook for dinner and sandwiches.  I am looking forward to not doing a thing, just enjoying the day.  A

Basically the same...which is just fine

The menu is much the same. The oyster dressing will be a change from last year.

Well the bird of course. Then the ham. Add string beans, yams, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy galore, biscuits and cranberry. Apple, pumpkin and other pies plus a homemade to die for cheesecake enuff said. Tasty drinks of many natures, good conversation and we eat at 1:30 p.m. and again at 5:30

Same Same same but the people come and go over the years

We are pretty traditional. Same menu for the past twenty-five years!

Since I am the official chef of the family I prepare the traditional menu but change the veggie dish every year. This year it is roasted brussel sprouts and butternut squash with thick cut bacon pieces all tossed in light bourbon maple sauce.

Whatever I can find along the road today, maybe Evelyn and Larry will have pie.

Turkey, stuffing, twice baked potatoes, green beans, salad, home made cranberry sauce, biscuits, pecan pie and ice cream. 

It's usually the same every year.

Mine is different than usual since I'm only cooking for two.  I'm having two cornish hens, creamy cauliflower, roasted broccoli, sweet peas, apple cranberry bake and sweet and sour red cabbage.

It darn well better the same thing or my family would revolt... On second thought that may not be a bad idea....LOL

It's basically the same, but we always try some new things, too. Turkey is always served along with stuffing and mashers. Last year we brought back stuffed mushrooms, and this year I'm making my German cabbage dish with bacon. That will be it's debut appearance for Thanksgiving. 

The same as every year... BUFFET!!  Only difference is the location.  That tends to vary each year.

I am full just thinking about all of this!

It is pretty much the same. We have turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, corn casserole, deviled eggs, rolls and pies and cakes. Now I am hungry.

My Thanksgiving dinner is basically the same menu with maybe a few different veggie dishes.

For the main course we usually alternate between turkey, goose, duck, pheasant, ham, or a prime rib. This year it's applewood/mesquite smoked turkey breast with all the usual fixins. Christmas I'm thinking smoked Duck á l'Orange.

The only reason my menu would change is for allergies of a guest.

Since I don't cook on Thanksgiving, I don't have a menu. We go to the home of good friends and it's always the same.. I bring dessert and it's always the same... a vanilla bean cheesecake and a chocolate/cherry cake that I bake. I like some traditions that don't change.

Yolanda - Thanksgiving menu has been pretty much the same for many years, a combination of plates from my family and my wife's family. Everything we have is great.

Yes, it was only our family and I cook everyone favorite wishes: bison burgers for my son and crab legs for my daughter.

it was similar to last year's....

I did change up a couple of things - no green bean casserole, making green bean bundles, and no sweet potatoes.

Instead of eating out we opted to cook at home.  I'm smoking a chicken and Debbie will take care of the veggies and homemade apple pie for the two of us.
