It is homemade stuffing made from regular bread not cornbread.  Alas, I am reducing my gluten so it will be neither this year.

It is stuffing.  The recipe may or may not have cornbread, depending on who makes it.

Debbie, use regular bread not cornbread and it is dressing. My mom used to do stuffing.

It's dressing if your a slob and stuffing if you're a pig. I eat my cornbread with beans, not with Turkey.

I've always known it as stuffing. Cornbread or regular crumbs...I still like it.

I like it either way and it does not matter what you call it, but I will be limiting the quantities this year to just a taste.

Debbie,

I have seen it both ways, and somehow stuffing and dressing are interchangeable for most people.  Cornbread is in dressing, and bread is in the stuffing...A

I like to make mine from scratch. The batch that goes into the turkey is stuffing and the batch that is baked in the oven is dressing, no cornbread in mine.

Depends on what part of the country you're from as to the name.  Out here it's stuffing in the south it's dressing.  As to cornbread, I think so.  Been too long since it's been made at my house to know.
