I figure they are not paying attention and I just unsubscribe. I have been doing a lot of that lately.

The delete key is not a strenuous workout. I will glance over the message to see if there is anything I can use and then hit the magic key!

That happens to me a lot, not sure why they do that. I don't make a fuss, I just unsubscribe and move on.

Richard,
I don't like being sent a newsletter, because they found my email. Permission is so much nicer. A

Some of them are interesting. When I was developing my newsletter I used many of these for my research. Some are cute and about the agent, others are strictly business. I don't mind, I can always hit delete or create a filter. I usually add them to my listing advertising list though... You spam me, you're fair game.

We get enough emails all day without more that we have no interest in. I opt out soon as I get them. Also the emails advertising their listings.

Drives me potty... especially when I see the same newsletter from agents from different parts of the country because they simply use what their company provides and smack their names on it. I simply unsubcribe.

Good Friday morning Richard. I get bombarded enough as it is with junk mail. I feel your pain.

I unsubscribe immediately with no second thoughts. Since it happens so often, I stopped paying attention on this annoying habit of other agents who pay the third parties to spam us.

Richard - I have not received any newsletter from other agents via email, but have received a few via snail mail. I don't get that many, so if I feel like it I may peruse through it, otherwise I will just toss it.

Not interested in their newsletter.
Not interested in the new listing.
Not interested in there open house.
I am interested in knowing what other professionals in my space are doing. I love seeing the same service used by a gazillion agents. It really isn't hard to be different, but you need to know what common looks like.
I know these letters are the result of some 'surfing' event and the source agent has employed some automation system. As long as I continue to receive confirmation that everyone else is common, I can smile. When I have no communication, not conformation, I am as much in the dark as they are.

Richard L. McKinney P.A. I personally do not like it - I do not send it and if I get it, I request them to take me off the list.

Richard, I am so with you on this one. Besides, they are all purchased from newletter writing services and many duplicates.

Yes it does and I am constantly unsubcribing and noting the email as Spam.

I will peruse the newsletter if it is a good one it will stay if it is generic or a bad one into the spam market they will go.

I do not like to receive new listing emails. I have not received newsletters.
1,209,215
Nah. I don't sweat the small stuff like this. I hit the unsubscribe button and get on my way.
2,224,473
It doesn't really bother me, but I consider the emails annoying. I can find the property in the MLS and I don't need your email to tell me the same thing.

Live and let live. Im sure it bothers some people in the areas that I am farming to receive e-mails, post cards, phone calls etc. but very rarely does anyone complain. Who knows, I may learn something from other agents news letters.

Maybe they tell their clients that they have a huge mailing list? Personally, I like quality over quantity. But then, I don't even do a newsletter. I prefer the personal touch.

Richard,
That is a minor problem but annoying. You can download all of our state license records in seconds so that is a bigger problems that so many companies download the list and start sending stuff.
6,393,154
It would not bother me, its their effort and my opportunity to learn more about them.
2,781,163
Add all you want of me...I am okay with it. I also respect other points of view
