Hmmm. In my area, the first blank would be "licensed in DC", and the second would be "also licensed in Virginia and Maryland." The jurisdictions are so close together that many buyers are looking in all three - and they are in a pretty tight geographic area.

Ron and I are fortunate to work with agents who understand the business. Thet are also eager to improve their business, they are excited to learn how they can do better. The "bad" agents are akin to "bad lawyers", "bad doctors", etc. Personally, I hate all the paintbrush style labeling that goes around not only by the public but by agents themselves. Just here on Active Rain, I have personally met with 25 fabulous agents who are a credit to their profession. I would happily recommend them all. We have personally worked with 4 of them, and each has been a joy and a delight. Among the ones I have not met personally, I am certain that I would recommend them. A
