I lived through 10 years of The Troubles in Belfast -  I would have stayed.  You don't ever let them see you sweat!!  My first thought is always of secondary explosions that the terrorists used to attack the first responders!  When there is a bomb, your human reaction is to run forward to see who needs help but I know now that is the wrong response.  You have to allow the correct people to do their jobs first!

I can't say for sure but I probably would have stayed.  It's not very likely ISIS would strike twice in the same place.  I'm sure they have other targets planned.  I think the most populous areas are the most susceptible.

I would have stayed on.  I probably would have taken the train to Champagne and then returned after things quieted to a new normal.  One of our very good friends flies the United Route from Paris to SF had landed in SF just as it happened.  She is devastated by the events.  A

I'm not really sure what I would do. My instinct would be to go back home, or somewhere else, but with the crazy things going on, I would have questioned any kind of travel and the safety there. Part of me would also have wanted to stay and help, but I'm not trained, and there would certainly be a language barrier. So I don't know what good I would be in helping. I guess I would have to be in that situation to know what I would do.

I would have stayed, you just cant be scared in todays crazy world. The same thing could have happened in any major city in any country. You just can't base your life on it, if anything the next attack would be somewhere different not in Paris again so you may actually be safter there.

Interesting. If the things I came to see opened up, I'd stay. If the city were basically closed, I'd go someplace else where I can see things. I would not leave out of fear. That said...if my kids were with me? I'd leave instantly.

Actually, the security couldn't have been better after the fact so safety is guaranteed. Another thought, making history a part of your vacation. Still another, France would embrace you wherever you went. Good stuff

I would have stayed and, if possible, traveled to a bordering country via train to get out of the troubled area and go elsewhere. TBH that's what I would do anyway, if I were in Europe and had access to different countries like they do. I'd spend a day exploring Paris, then on to the next.
