Linked in doesn't work for me. Make it work for you. Use social media however you see fit to make it work for you.

This wouldn't be my first choice of communication methods. LinkedIn is much more of a business to business medium.

I think, it is perfectly ok. But the question is what message you are going to use? If you go strait to ''give me!'', most of the times you will be blocked.

Good morning Nattalie. It really doesn't matter what method you use, as long as you reach out. They may just see it as a way to get their property sold.

Not the best place to solicit a stranger as a client, Linked in is primarily for those who already have a relationship of some sort and they will kick people out if spam complaints are filed.

I think that is perfectly alright and actually might open a door that you may not have otherwise.

If it works...but I do think Linkedin is not very good for real estate.

If it's a way to find contact information for a prospect, I don't see why not.

Nattalie de la Mothe I don't think this would work. You're better off contacting FSBO's and Expired's by mail.

On the one hand, what do you have to lose? On the other hand, most would not accept the invite...as many only accept invites from people they know.

Much less intrusive than just stopping by, which I would never do. That is just how I roll though, I know that I am the minority in that regard.

Networking with prospects and others on LinkedIn is a good practice but I would not use LinkedIn for initial contacts.
Drop by and talk with them face to face for the best results. Ask for their email address and follow up by email and phone.
