Just did it Gail. IPhone doesn't allow an encrypted signature but there are some apps you can use. Who wants to switch back and forth from an app? Not me. So I created a Shortcut for my signature that I want to appear keeping in mind I have to have certain components to be legal in TN.
Before I was typing it in. That took time.

Of course we do and it has our logo, and we create one for all our clients as part of their brand identity. A

I'll have to look into doing this. It's a great idea.

I did for awhile, but decided that if I were having a multiple text conversation, it was annoying. So I took it off automatic. If it's my first text or early in the relationship, I'll identify myself.

Gail Gladstone I do use my name, company name and phone# in my signature which automatically pops up with each message.
Downside is - if i don't send the message, it remains as a draft since it is not blank! However, I can live with that.

Guilty as charged with not having a signature. And, yes have received messages without a clue as to the sender!

Good morning Gail. I don't do a lot of texting in my mortgage practice, it doesn't seem to stop anyone from working with me.

Gail - Any time I am contacting someone for the first time, I always give them my full name, the broker I work for, and my member id number.
I don't use this information when texting friends and family, or if the client or business associate already has me in their contacts.

I don't. People who do and it shows up after every single text annoy the crap out of me. If I am not SURE the person will know who I am, I begin the text with Hi, this is Tammy Lankford, Broker Lane Realty and then we're good.

I don't simply because I have no idea how to do that. If I am texting someone who may not know my number, I identify myself.

Interesting. I didn't even realize that was possible. I always identify myself but wow, this is such a great idea...I need to do this. (Note: I'm not a realtor so this is not required, but it's a great idea.
I guess I'm in the slow class. How do I do that? (I have a droid).

It drives me crazy and it happened just last week with an agent who sent me a text asking me to show one of her clients a home because she was too far away and didn't want to waste time.
I include my name and company information but it is not automatic.
1,466,207
Gail Gladstone I alway sign off with my name. I didn't know you could have an auto signature.

I have not added my signature to my text messages, and think I will get that done right now. Thanks for the reminder!

I always identify myself in my text messages. Why should they be different from emails or voice mails?

Good Tuesday morning Gayle. I don't do that much texting so I will have to check this one out.

Sidenote....i like to change the message a bit..there are sig's for emails or texts. when i communicate all the time with the same people , i personally get tired of the same :salud" or cheers or chit like that. just me

Gail,
Never had a need to do that. I’ll “burn that bridge when I come to it.”

Texting each other should be refrained. I know young people enjoy doing it all day long. 35 years ago I started using VMmail, the text was TELL. I turn it off as there were people abusing it... Annoying as hell.
eMail a doc holds one to be liable in court. Text data at court I am not sure.

I dont thin that I have ever received a text with a professional signature, I am happy with that one out of a hundred who leaves a name.

I don't do very many Professional things by text...E-mail or by voice to voice

I do Gail Gladstone and even though it's State law here only a handful of agents in our MLS do it.
