I would suggest pizza, you can never go wrong with pizza when it comes to teenagers.

I have no idea what to do with teen-aged kids these days... our youngest granchild is almost 17 going on 30. But some of the ideas below sound like fun.

 Good Monday morning Evelyn. Have them play on their iPads and have them do virtual gingerbread houses. Let's face it, kids today live in a virtual world.

Whatever you do, it will likely need to involve their phones or tablets.

Food! Any of the teenager-favorites (pizza, tacos, burgers) will be a hit. And if they'll be making Gingerbread Houses have some Teen Theme decorations avaiable.

We do a gingerbread house decorating event for our local Habitat for Humanity Chapter. I'm on the board so I'm very involved with this. I don't have any good suggestions for you at this time, but I will think about it. Our local event centers around the family having time together. 

Plan a scavenger hunt. They love them and make it exciting.

What snacks do they like?   Brownies, hot cider for Indiana?

Take what you did for them last year and improve upon that.

I agree with those who suggested a pizza party.

I really like Susan Emo's idea of Make Your Own Pizzas and Sundaes Nites.

Root beer and pizzas at least that's what we use to like.

I would feed them and keep the kids occupied.

Evelyn - I like the idea Debbie Reynolds had about having a scavenger hunt.

I think Susan Emo nailed it with the make-your-own pizza! However, I think that because of limited space it would be wise to use a church kitchen for the event. Or if you do it at the office you could do a take-it-and-bake-it pizza night. They can decorate here and then make it at home. Otherwise it would be really hard to be baking pizzas at different times and holding people up...

They would love to receive movie tickets from you.

Pizza and some video games would be my guess, that should keep them busy for quite sometime.

I think the Karaoke idea is fabulous plus the pizza.....

Ask if they want to do it too, my daughter is 15 and we attend a couple and she loves it. Then for those who dont. a place with pizza and they will ignore anything else as they stay on their phones anyway
