Sometimes - just recently I was asked " where is the closest grocery store"? But overall, most people are already familiar with the surrounding area.

Great question. Trader Joe's inquiries are becoming more common!

No one asks about Trader Joe's in Canada since it is not up here. However, some people do ask about the location of other types of stores.
generally speaking they don't ask for specific stores, but rather "where is a grocery store, where is a mens clothing store" kinds of questions.
Roy - Typically they do not. I think with smart phones, GPS, and mapping, people are finding what they are looking for on their own.
We beat them to the question by giving them information on what they have available to them in the area. That is, if they are from outside the area.
No, most of our Buyer's are local and already know where things are.
Absolutely. Fior instance of rmy wife and I we want to be ten minutes from Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, our yoga studio, and a spin class location. We are a great believer in lifestyle marketing.
Not so much Roy but I mention it to them as a selling point.
Not in my rural area. Asking about big chain stores and restaurants is pointless. We don't have them. You can see our town, and it's amenities, in less than five minutes.
If they don't ask, I usually volunteer if they are unfamiliar with the area. I LOVE working with clients relocating to Louisville!
Not usually. Most are familiar enough with the area. If a listing is close by something though, I'll point that out as a selling feature.
Honestly though in this day and age people should be able to go to google maps and type "Trader Joe's near 123 main street, my city" That's all they need to do to get their answer.
The #1 request is STARBUCKS.
The #2 request is where do you go without a Starbucks?
And in #3 is the local PUBLIX.
not Trader Joe's in particular but they want to know what is around
Just every so often.... and more often about a Starbucks of Whole Foods than Trader Joe's. Target is another one I get asked about.
Good morning Roy. Not being on the real estate I normally wouldn't get those kinds of questions, but plenty of others.
I've been asked where is the nearest Starbucks. I thought that was interesting but it was extremely important to these buyers.
