It's just observation. I see most views of a blog post (resulting into more comments) if it is posted at 5-9 AM, 12:30-2 PM and 7-9 PM EST on weekdays.

Fridays, add an extra hour to the evenings.

Saturday and Sunday - it's little late 7-11 AM and early in the evening 5-8 PM.

There probably is, but I really don't have time to figure it out. I'm of the school of thought that it's enough I managed to find time to write the blog!

This depends on your objective.  If you care about search traffic, it doesn't matter. If you care abt comments on here, geerally morning is better.  More people comment at beginning of day.

I always try to write "evergreen" blog posts (not always, but most times) so that it doesnt matter when I post. 

I noticed there is more activity in late afternoon. Perhaps is due to the fact that we are getting ready to wind down for the day and instead of turning on the TV...we open AR.

there is, i think Praful Thakkar  has made a study of this..perhaps he could repost his thoughts? i try to do them sober, which leaves a  very  little window of opportunity

That is a question that I have wondered often, but it seems there is always someone reading in the rain

I think the perfect time to blog is when it works for you. My sense is that it's more important TO BLOG REGULARLY than worry about being at your desk certain times of the day.

Monday its a horse race...All the posts come out of the gate

Fridays is the kiss of death for no traffic

tuesday wed & thurs...things are hopping around

Sats & Sun can go either way

There is an exception to all of the above as well

I try for either 4am Pacific which is 7am East Coast or 3pm Pacific which is 6pm East Coast. No idea which works better.

I haven't found any time better or worse than others.

I read in one of the training blogs on AR that morning Pacific Time was good. I have no verification though.

For most of my blogs (market data), it's all about the search traffic and the comments are nice but not something that I expect to see.  For those, posting at any time of the day is fine by me.

For  other blogs like my recent ones about rescues and the call detector app, those I did during the day but only because that is when I had the time available.
