I tend to "like" the questions and posts that I read, a by-product of all my time on Facebook I suppose. I use it as sort an acknowledgement that I've read it and found some nugget to take away, even if I don't comment on it further. I also "upvote" comments for the same reasons.

Once in a while...Unless it's on a question I asked, then I do to show appreciation. 

Yes Roy and the same goes with liking the blogs. I always felt that if you take the time to comment on a persons blog why not click like and give them a few points. I do not understand why everyone does not do this, help each other out?

Most of the time.  It gives them a few extra points, and I like to give people points.

Not typically - only when I really do like a question.
