For most of my listings I will request feedback, but not all.  And, I will typically respond to feedback requests.

I do follow up with them, any input that may help me market the property or let the seller know of anything helps. The sooner the better in my book and usually the only way to get feedback on showings is to ask.

Listing Agent: I get feedback from all agents, even if I have to have my assistant stalk them. 1. E-mail (not survey, manual) 2. Call 3. repeat process until answered.

Buyer(s) Agent: yes I reply to however they contact me: e-mail to e-mail, call to call. I do (what I expect of others); respond.

I believe in maintaining our standards: (lest this industry falls to the 80% who are at best mediocre), rise to the 20%-who make it great.

I say...be content that you received 4 feedbacks. I only give feedback if there are issues that I see that if resolved can help the seller.

I do my best to always give feed back on viewings.  Some will get lost but if an agent calls or emails I immediately return the contact.  Most times people who shout loudest for feed back are the ones who ignore requests for the same.  Mark

Always ask for feedback (four time for each showing spaced over 24 hours, which gives me about an 85% response rate) and always provide feedback when asked.

We definitely post feedback and so many who show our listing do not even have the courtesy to at least respond with "No interest". I know that is too much to ask, but it is professional courtesy.

Depends.

If feedback is requested IN PERSON I provide buyer feedback.

If the sellers has requested feedback, and I need a little neutral help to nudge the seller in the right direction, I personally request feedback and will contact the agent in that effort.

NOT ALL REAL ESTATE NEEDS FEEDBACK.

It is mostly busy work which is why I mostly ignore requests that are not personally made.

That % is about normal.  You can randomly call agents see what their clients thought.

The only real feedback we want is "is your client interested in the home, will they be writing an offer?"  Everything else we already know.  In reality, if your client was interested, you'd be the one contacting the listing agent.

30 showings on a weekend?  I sure hope you sold at least 3-4 homes!

When showing a home, I always leave feedback as soon as I can.

On the listing side, we normally get feedback.  We have an automated system that sends out a request for feedback right after the showing.

I'll admit I'm not the best at this.  But because I do not want my peers to give me the stink eye... it is something that I'm working on.

However if it is my listing, I'm calling, emailing, summoning...whatever, I have to do to get the feedback for my seller.

Yes, we follow up on all showings and we leave feedback when we tour listings.  It's a shame more agents don't as sellers are always anxious to hear how a showing went.

I wouldn't be shocked. Many agents don't deal with feedback. There are reasons that they can't give feedback. Some buyers never really say what they completely think, and don't tell their agents right away. Other agents provide phony useless feedback like " it showed well", or '' right now it's not in our top 5". And if they are planning on making an offer, they aren't going to say " they loved it, I think they will make an all cash full price offer". I've even had buyers instruct me not to tell sellers or listing agent what they are thinking. Sometimes it will be 2-5 days later when they say " I think we want to make an offer on X" . I've also had agents and sellers call or email and complain about my feedback. So I never ask for feedback. I already know what the house needs and whether or not it's overpriced. I monitor comps, then meet with sellers to discuss why similar properties to theirs are going under contract, and yours isn't. Many times we can't figure out the reason. I will send "Thanks for showing"  cards and/or emails, and ask them to let me know if they have any questions. If they are somewhat interested in making offer, the agent will usually call, and some feedback usually comes out of that call.

I get about 25% feedback and do try to respond when asked. Agents just don't have the time to respond back and figure you know the buyer didn't like it.

Why are you listing a property?  For feedback or for an offer?  Nothing says "feedback" more than an offer.  You listed the place.  You priced it.  You have the fiduciary duty to your clients.  Other agents. who are not in your brokerage, do not.
