How do I control the application of pictures when I post a link on Facebook?

I have added several links to my AR listing posts on my Facebook page. Most of these do not have a picture. I am not an expert on Facebook. It seems to me that there should be a way to make sure there is a picture posted there when I post the link.

I got GREAT results when I made a post of this listing on my Facebook Group. However it did not put a picture there when I made the post. My Seller Client re-posted the link and got a picture when he did it.

I was pleasantly surprised to get the number of views on this virtual tours. I was also encouraged to see that Zillow had a tiny share while Facebook and even Active rain saw significant views.

The only way to be sure with a picture on FB is to post it directly, those in blog posts sometimes show up and often do not.

I have found that if I post the picture first, and then the link...it all works.Good luck.
