The plain fact of the matter is that you can not buy your way out of debt. It's what I like to call a negative income. Housing won't save us but it will keep the rain off of our heads!

Personally, I don't think anyone has the answer, well I take that back one person or should I say One Entity does and soon will. Until that day comes living well is life's revenge.

Not enough time to cover all of that, but jobs and wages are a major issue. The middle class has all but disappeared, and our recovery was built on money created out of thin air. We've become a debt obsessed society that wants instant gratification. Our leadership is terrible, and we have billions to spend on the military and prison complexes, but not a dime to spare to ensure schools can provide a quality education. We're in an ugly downward spiral.

Winston, I think we're in a recovery due to the billions spent, otherwise we would have crashed and burned. I'm a Republican so you should see that I'm being objective.

You have hit on something here Winston Heverly . Housing cannot save us, since it is wholly dependent on a robust economy first with jobs to drive the housing demand and banks willing to loan money. Which came first? The house, or the people capable of paying for it?
