the most important room in my house is the kitchen....I have a large kitchen for being such a small home.... it's a 26' kitchen and my island sits 10 comfortably and 14 uncomfortably.... my family loves to have holidays at my house and not in the formal dining room...they all want to eat in the kitchen!!! imagine???  open floor plan so the family room is open to the eating area.... 

First of all I have to comment on the picture . If this was in my house I would be a prune because I would not get out of the tub. For my next home I would only have 3 rooms and they are kitchen, bathroom, bedroom . 

Kitchen and master bath to get my money back if we sold.

I spend a lot of time in our home office. The room is fine but I should invest in a more comfortable chair.

The kitchen, baths and outdoor spaces get my vote.

I spend a lot of time in my office, but the room I would update would be the kitchen/dining area.  It needs some "oomph" and some warmer colors and a backsplash and new tiling.

The two rooms I spend most time in is my office and my bedroom. I spend the most money on my kitchen, followed by my master bathroom.

 Good Monday morning Mike. For me, it is the sunroom. I like natural light in this room is surrounded on three sides by glass.

I need a comfortable place to sit and it's usually a couch. Have couches in my living room and office. Am not much of a cook, but for resale value, the kitchen needs to be updated and that's where I would put my money.

Hi Mike, the most important room in my house is the kitchen and I love my outdoor living space.

"Living" Room.  We enjoy being in it watching the fire in Winter and watching the "Weather Channel"...on MUTE!

 The most enjoyable room for me is my family room which is an open floor plan to the kitchen.  I would like to have a new bathroom in the master suite, and I would like to update the kitchen, but I'm quite content with my home as is, truth be told.

I would love to have this room, but the office, my home office is where I like to be.

My wife would say the Kitchen.. for me it's the livingroom.

I work at home so my pesonal office, but My family room neds the small upgrade.

MIKE ROCK I would say the family room is where we spend most of the time not counting my home office. I would spend dollars in the kitchen.

The kitchen is the most important room.  I updated my kitchen 2 years ago.  I noticed lately that more sellers are updating the bathrooms instead of the kitchen.
