I would then encourage them to not walk, but run to that other office.  Then I would have a papertrail discussion with that other office letting them know what was said about them, especially if it is most likely false and this other office is being slandered.

If they are okay with an unethical agent then they should use that other firm, and be ready for a potential lawsuit.

The operative word here is "potential" which would never be realized through me via illegal behavior. Please nurture your Real Estate needs elsewhere!

No I haven't had anyone ask but I can tell by their pauses or expressions that they may be thinking of saying something like that.

Then, be my guest and go over to that other office. 

I'd open the door, and direct them to the other office.... quickly....

Clients sometimes make requests or demands that are not acceptable. Just say no with a big smile. There is no need to have a confrontation.

Since we work in Florida, and it involved money,  I have no doubt that they could find several agents to do it for them.

My husband had that happen and promptly fired the client.  No way you want to stay involved with a client if they are dishonest and unethical.  They told you "x" now, but what about what they may not tell you and you get unwittingly involved in an illegal or unethical situation?  No thanks.
