Real estate is a unique experience because you personally have the opportunity to introduce that someone to their new home. As a real estate broker, being able to see people's spirits lift as they realize that they've found their first home, new home or forever home is a service achievement that brings the unexplainable joy of giving to others.

I really enjoy handing home buyers the keys to their new home.  The smiles are priceless.  Sounds corny I know but it's true.

Real Estate is the opportunity to build a business of marketing that allows us to assist people with their largest purchse. I love the challenge of marketing both my business and seller homes. I love the challange of working with peoples life long expectations and short term goals. The entire business is a challenge that carries with it tremendous rewards for our sellers, buyers, vendors, and us!

There are many things, but nothing makes me happier than getting an unsolicited review or getting tagged on a FB post (my biggest platform) by a happy client that we just helped.  

Working with the children of previous clients.  There is no better referral and I am grateful.

Sometimes it's just putting the check in the bank and being thankful the deal is done.  Other times, I'm so happy for my clients who found a home they love!

The other day I called a past buyer client and told her about a eliptical machine that she could have if she wanted it from another house I have for sale. I met her on Saturday and she had some friends help her with the machine and she was so thankful and talked about loving the house I sold her last year. It makes me feel good to stay in contact with past clients and see how they are doing. Since I made this reconnect I asked her for a reference.

I enjoy the excitment of clients when they complete a sale and move on to new phase of life.  I especially like working with first time home buyers who are so excited to own their first home.

The moment at the settlement when you receive the commission check is a very good time.

I enjoy being right in my predictions and pricing.  Though, I'm trying not to say "I told you so" too much.

Freedom...The ability to come and go at random and not be chained down is priceless

Helping clients with what is probably going to be the largest investment of their lives.  One of, if not the largest contributor to quality of life.   And being appreciated.  When the client notices, and appreicates all the hard work, sure feels good.

It's a tie between: Referrals-Relationships & Negotiating

1. I've had dinner in many of the homes I've sold people over the years; so my referred relationships that come out of my hard work for and staying in touch with happy clients.

2. I also love negotiating, especially negotiating great deals and solving challenges in escrow creatively for my clients' win! 

Myself or my team impressing another client with our professionalism or getting a hard deal done. 

There is no better feeling than closing an escrow.  It is cleansing.  Some are the end of a great friendship and seeing people that are fun and likable on a regular bases and others are the end of a nightmare.  Don't we love our chosen profession?
