If I get one comment, then I am pleased, since that means at least one AR member has read my post. Percentages? I am with John McCormack on this one.

This is an interesting question. I have not been paying any attention to the number of views and have no idea of this ratio.

I really don't know the percentage.  I get an average of 30 or so comments per post.

Based on last 400 or so, around 8%.  (I exported to excel and did quick calc).  I'm sure if I go back to when I started, the ratio is much lower primarily due to more views...so denominator is higher.  My posts here used to get many more views until I started my wordpress site, and now the views go to that site and AR views are MUCH lower than my own site.

I've had 0 comments to over 200. My "controversial blogs" get more than my inspirational, which is a bummer, but true. I do like the comments, they build conversation momentum and occasionally I get a great point of view I had not considered. I learn from some of the comments, others I have to count to 10 and breathe deep. 

i just counted 10 in a row and it was about 20%. but i think that is because of the dirty pictures in them :)

Sorry, have not looked at this, and just happy if I get views.   The comments are nice too! 

It varies. Sometimes as high as 75-80% for the posts written for agents and sometimes lower than 5% for the posts written for consumers.

I had never thought about this before.  If  I get a comment..I am excited..

James- I think I've averaging around 30+%.   However, I may have divided the wrong number by the wrong number. I truthfully have no idea. 

I only count the number of clients I get.

I agree with the majority ; 8-10% on most post but a lot higher on Featured posts.

Never took the opportunity to review this data.  I'm grateful for every comment I receive and quite happy when I receive a call/email from someone who has "found" me due to my blogging efforts.  

I am honored to recieve any comments on my posts.

The more important law changes, RE industry update people do not seem think it affects them in their micro neighborhood.

The controversial subject, bahavior, weirdo, harrassment seem to get the most comments.

Mine is avg 6.8 comments each from last 20 blogs. The most commentary one was about Z went down I had 29.  I guess many spent too much advertisement money.

I took a hiatus from blogging due to all of the AR formatting issues ... but am always happy to have comments on my posts!  I think views are good too, not everyone has to make a comment but if they're reading it, I'm happy.

It depends on the post, some get a comment for most of the hits, while other more consumer oriented posts get tons of hits and very few comments.

As with most people views are higher than comments.
