A glitch?  I don't use this system due to fear of loss.  Report it to the staff.

I only tried the feature once and it did not work.  Contact support for assistance.

Copy the text from your documents achieves and publish today.

Make addition to your daily schedule to verify scheduled automated tasks were executed.

Oh that stinks.  I also stopped using the scheduling function as there have been too many issues.  Maybe call support?

Oh, and double check your drafts...if you have a lot of drafts, it may just be out of order.  I couldn't find one of mine yesterday and then finally found at the end of the list.

All I can say is Save and Save some more. I have lost several post. 

Wayne and Jean Marie Zuhl sometimes scheduling does not work - happened with me couple of times. However, missing the post.....that's strange. Check with support@ActiveRain.com and you may have some answer.

 I started to keep a copy of any blogs I write on my computer just incase. That way if I loose one it's just a matter of copy & past.

Like others said the schedule function does have it's bugs, not a fan of using it.

The scheduler is unreliable. I have had some never post and also had some revert to old versions that didn't have my latest corrections. It is frustrating but definitely report it so the develpoer can troubleshoot it.

I have no clue.  I have lost many blogs the same way.

I had the same problem yesterday. Do not feel alone in the cold!
