A cozy single family home with easy access to the GUlF of Mexico and a back yard on a moutaintop in W.VA. I am still looking. My agent tells me my criteria is unreaonsable.

We are retired in Kentlands, in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The convenience of shopping, restaurants and community facilities is outstanding. The available medical care is a very important factor.
We have visited many other places and would still be open for an even better selection in a lower cost area.

Hawaii for sure! I would buy acreage and have a horse sanctury. I would also take in abused and elderly horses no body wants. My horse Dakota is 21 and he is still young at that age.

St. Thomas. I would make a triangle between the house, hammock on the beach, and bar. That is why I work, that is my planend retirement.

I haven't really given this much thought. Perhaps something like my in-laws used to do: winter in AZ, and summer in WA. But we love our home in IL so it just might be two weeks visits to several places year round. So many beautiful places to retire in the US before I will consider retiring beyond our shores.

We visited Naples Florida over 20 years ago and decided this would be the place. When retirement came very early we just stepped up the plan by 15 years.
