Yes, and 90% of the contracts written in my career were weekend showings. I work in a second home market and weekends are when buyer can/do come to look.

Absolutely! I made peace with that before I started real estate. We must be available when our clients are available!

How can you not to? But I usually work only Sundays keeping Saturday for family and home.

But we take hours off, sometimes during the weekend and sometimes during the week. Hardly ever take a whole day off :)

I did take some time off earlier today, but I had to work this evening. I will work weekends, but like most people, I do like to have them off. I will also be working next weekend. I already know that in advance.

Yes, if I have sellers or buyers who aren't available during the week. And of course I write and respond to contracts. 

I try my very best not to but occasionally I do.  More so in the winter with the week nights being dark so early.  I've found that clients are available during the week and would prefer to have their own weekends with their own friends and family.

Most and though I don't mind it I would like a day off during the week which rarely happens.

Yes, we take chunks of time off during the weekend, and a half day during the week.  Sometimes, we managed a whole day or two.  A

Absolutely! Even when I am at the pool with the kids - I am working - if someone asks...I will gladly take their name and number and call them later.

I would love to not work weekends, but I do not see how you could be a sucessful realtor if you took off weekends.  Now, once in blue moon if I have an event to go to or if I decide to go away I will take a day off, but even then I may have to schedule another way for an agent to show my listings.

Is participating on AR, during the weekend classified as work, as networking, as building Internet presence? If so, yes, I work seven days a week. 

If reviewing status reports, updating marketing material, drive by inspections called work, then I am guilty of doing this on weekends.

Does answering the phone on Sat or Sun classified as work? Guilty again.

Will I work or meet with a buyer or seller on Saturday or Sunday? Yes.

Do I play hookey from time to time to recharge my creative batteries? You bet. And I do this on the slightest urging.  I do love what I do. So that is why I must ask you, "Is it work?" because for the most part, I do enjoy helping those who need help.

sir, i am not proud of it , necessarily, but i work 7 days a week. some days more hours than others. at least 70 hours for the week. i think i would collapse if i stopped :)

Good Day Capt. I  worked last weekend (4th July) and yesterday and today. Saturday and Sunday could be a Monday or Tuesday to me. So, Yes I work weekends.  

With the help of a few other agents in my office  7 of my listings were held open and I myself  showed three different buyers homes.  I  wrote two offers,  Net gain...three houses sold from the opens and I got one buyer client their dream home and one on going still negotiation so far working this weekend I turned in 1,040,000.

And some of the agents work hosted my opens are  working new buyer leads I picked up one and my partner picked up two.

I returned all phone calls and have two listing appointments for this week, One tomorrow one Wednesday. Just saying!

We take time off everyday to exercise, meditate, read, and do enjoyable things so rarely is any day an 8 hour work day, so the day in thatr espect doesn't matter. 

Sunday is the busiest day of the week for sales here. I try to take off Saturday as my day of rest but it's not always possible. Saturday is traditionally for rentals here so if I have a rental listing or tenant then I probably need to work Saturday. I'm never really off even when I try. 

If there's a need then yes.

Yep, seems to be every weekend.  But, some weekdays are slower, so I still try to squeeze free time in.

Yes I usually try and take Sunday's off.  But if there is a good chance I am going to write a contract I will work.

I work weekends but we are empty nesters so we don't have some of the challenges that agents with children have. When I work weekends, I take days off during the week. It all evens out.

I seldom work on Sundays. Our system in our town makes it NOT possible to show some of the homes.

Captain, I work 24/7/52. I have no problem with that because I ran my family's Mack Truck dealership for 20 years. That business requires someone on call all the time, and the owner always has to be available. In our second/vacation home market if agent doesn't want to work weekends they better find another profession 

I haven't been on a vacation in a long time.  I work 6 days a week.
