It may sound like a sales pitch, but for the right person, any. I enjoy helping people and I shudder to think of the type of service they may get if I dont help them. If a person has malice in their heart, I dont want to work with them at any price. I deliver the same service to the $50K condo buyer as I do for the $600K buyer, I booked one of each in the past week. Why shouldnt I treat them the same? IF/when I get too busy and feel I cant give my normal level of attention on a transaction, I will refer it out, no matter what the size.

Renee - I don't put a value on it. If someone wants to list a home with me, I would be happy to help out.

That number is often in flux...depending upon how busy I am, how easy the home is to buy or sell, and how far I have to drive.

Our bottom line is $400k but on occasion when specifically asked, we have gone lower.

I wouldn't set a lowest price, a sale is a sale in my opinion

Unless it's a personal referral or a repeat client, I try not to list properties below $100,000. But I have done a few at a lower price point than that. With buyers, I just don't go below around $80,000--compensation not enough for the time involved.

I will pretty much work for what ever amount of money the seller and I agree to work for. Usually it is full commission...

There is no bottom. During the Great Recession I will do anything to help home ownes get out of having their home foreclosed. There were many putting commission in front of what realtors should do-helping needed people.

Hi Renee -- it's a pricing issue for me as long as I can properly service and the seller is properly motivated.
Representing buyers is handled differently and on a person-by-person, case-by-case basis.

There is no bottom because, that small home could turn into several referrals and some much larger listings.
