It depends. Sometimes I can show 5 or more condos in same building in 1-2 hours. I could easily show 15 condos in a day if they are in same general area. Houses, 5- 7 per day is usually the max.

Randy Hilman, Associate Broker, GRI, CBR I would say no more than four per client. After that they forgot all about the first one they saw.

Hi Susan: Yes, it's one thing to show five properties in the same complex or very near one another and quite another to put 100 miles on the car showing the same number of homes in rural New Hampshire. I presume, though, that you've still taken the time beforehand to determine your buyers' qualifications and motivation.

I'd say the lack of inventory these days limits the number of houses shown more than anything else. Otherwise, it depends on the circumstances. In our area, we get a lot of folks moving from out of state - often military - and so their time for looking at houses is limited, which means looking at a number of properties in a very short period of time.
The benefit of clients who have moved often is that they are efficient, they know pretty quickly what they want and are able to make a decision. We also have a lot of townhome communities, which can sometimes mean showing 4-5 properties within a few blocks of each other.

Randy Hilman, Associate Broker, GRI, CBR - not more than 6 for a single buyer. They will start confusing with every other home at the end of the day.

It all depends on how far apart the homes are, but I think I would stop at 6 per day.
