If I really need to reach them I start trying in the morning early around 8-9. Then I continue off and on until evening. I try not to call after 8 at night.

Definitely in the morning. I need to get all my questions and other odds and ends lined up for the day which can best be done at the beginning of the day. Many others must feel the same way, I get few phone calls in the the afternoon, instead, many emails.

It depends what time zone we are dealing with.  At one point we had clients in Hawaii and Back East all at once, and it was a bit hellish dealing with two coasts.  So we just do it.  A

Depends on the client. In the DC Metro area, there are a fair number of folks who can't talk during the day due to job restrictions. Other people are on their phone all day. If I need to be sure to reach someone, the morning before their work day has begun, is often the best.

I prefer 9-12 mornings and 2-4 in the afternoon for out bound calls.  I answer all calls unless I'm busy, but lately I've been inundated with robo calls about HARP telemarketers using local area codes but not much I can do except to block the number after the call.

I keep in mind the client's kept hours. I'll only call in case of an emergency if it's before or after. In my contacts after their names I add, 9a-8p. Emails go any time. Texts are usually whenever and short like " sent email needs attention asap". Works for me and simple noted reminder.

When it's sunny out...everyone is in better mood and you get better responses.

In general, I find afternoons are better than mornings as people are rushed in morning and trying to get work done.

That being said, it depends on the person.  For some of my customers where both work, often evening or Sat 10-noon works best.  For those where wife doesn't work or works part time, early afternoon (before kids get home) or very late morning.

I am finding that after 2PM most agents are willing to answer the phone. Most calls go to VM tho.

Always try to take all phone calls as they come in and like to make them in the morning, so if I do have to leave a message, the recipient has time to call back during the day.

I tend to be a morning person.  If it's an issue than needs to be resolved, morning gives the whole day to get it done.  I absolutely hate giving bad news in the evening, when there's nothing that can be done about it, and ruins a night of sleep.
