Are you referring to their customer service? I have found their coverage tends to be good... Haven't had many issues with customer service that I needed to speak to them about. However, I know big companies can be a nightmare!

I have had tech issues with AT&T, however I would argue that their customer service is 2nd maybe only to Amazon when it comes to corporate service (it's not a close 2nd....Amazon is amazing).  When I do have issues with AT&T, employees on the phone have been respectful, extremely friendly, and have done everything they can to make things right.  Like all big companies though, there are bound to be some bad employees and bad experiences to be had as well.  I know this to be true across the board from Verizon to Time Warner, AT&T, and every one between.

We switched awhile back to Verizon and got a much better overall plan and better service. We had been with AT&T for years but just couldn't take it anymore.

Way back when I got my first cell phone I had Cingular.  Remember them?  They then became At&T.  I have switched to Verizon but solely because my everyone I knew had Verizon and free verizon to verizon was big when I switched.

I've been with AT&T for many years and they have always been good to me. I have two accounts, one for Hawaii and one for California with 3 numbers and a hotspot. When I have a problem, and that is seldom, they are right there. Haven't experienced a dropped call in I don't know how long. Don't know how the others could do better for me.

Just read some of the other comments and wanted to add that, yes, when I drive through national forests to go north along the coast in the middle of nowhere, it conks out but I expect that. If that's the worst of my problems with AT&T, I don't mind. Probably Verizon wouldn't have an accessible tower there either.

I have at&t cable and I like them a whole lot better than comcast.  I such issues with comcast from there crappy service to there workman not showing up at all.  As soon as At&t was in my neighborhood I switched services.
