That would be nice but doubtful.  Those annoying ads make this affordable for the rest of us.

Good morning Michael. I didn't see the sale of AR as a need for cash, that would not have occurred to me.

The ads are a revenue stream, so I don't see anyone giving it up.

I actually never noticed them. Had to look it up to see what you were referring to. I don't think they will go away. That is how on-line businesses make a big bult of their money.

I don't even notice them any longer;  they follow me everywhere, anyway, so I've just learned to block them out.

Ads do not bother me. We will see ads anytime we are on the internet.

I hope the entire company goes away.

Ben Kinney is pretty smart so the ads of some kind or other will probably hang around! 

they don't bother me.... we do what's needed to survive financially.... they may need to use that space for ads too....

I choose to ignore the ads so it doesn't matter who gets paid for them. :-)

Just get ADBLOCK plus, and you are done with it.  Usually, when a company gets sold, it is sold with a multiple based on earnings...where do you think earnings come from on this platform...

Yes Z needed a cash infusion, their stock is not highly regarded or recommended at this point in time.

Doubtful, I think Ben Kinney want to make some return on owning this site also, and ad's pay for part of that.

You are correct though, the "Big Z" as you call it is in need of cash, pre IPO they always got nice investments of 100's of millions. Since going public, though the stock is in the 90's they still have issues making good revenue. Investors don't really want to put in money post IPO so time to sell assets.

Guess after buying Trulia for 3.5 billion less then a year ago, they also saw active rain as not really helping the bottom line.

I would like to see that happen, Michael. But as with so many other things, my crystal ball for this issue is a bit cracked right now and in the repair shop!
