The industry has had how long now to get ready for it and many still probably are not prepared?  Not sure the delay will help, I'm more of a "get it over with" kind of person, work out the kinks and move on.  Until it becomes "real," I don't know what to expect.

Nothing coming out of WashingtRON or this administration surprises me. The disfunctional leading the lemmings!

I thinks the delay will prove to be a smart decision.

Probably a good idea to wait until after the summer selling season, but we all have to accept that it is going to happen so the sooner it gets implemented, the sooner we can all acclimate to it.

I guess I should find out more about the change. Can anyone explain how it will affect you and the way you conduct business. I thought the new rules affect lenders, title companies, and the information they provide to consumers. Delays in closing up to 72 hours could make me a little angry if issues come up but am I missing anything?

Rife with excuses the beneficial effects of the delay would suggest a smooth transition into October's implementation. We will have to wait and observe the result. 

I think it a good move. No sense in fine's for lender when the bugs are already present. 

I'm not surprised. If anything I'm wondering if the lenders requested more time. They have a lot to lose.

Great lobbying from NAR, the real estate industry, and the mortgage industry. There is still time to negotiate changes but that remains to be seeb.

I can not figure out what the next move would be for anything federal.  It's a wait and see,
