Most of the real estate books are out of date by the time they are printed. You are better to take the classes that will polish your technical and communications skills.

I read lots of novels for my personal pleasure.

The Millionaire Real Estate Agent by Gary Keller

Endless Referrals by Bob Burg and The Power of Full Engagement by Jim Loehr. These are good for non-real estate issues as well. Otherwise, Iim like Chris and Dick Dovorany... I don't read real estate books. I like to read for fun and pleasure when I have time to do so.

I would go further and suggest taking an accounting course! They need to learn the language of business first, then they can read real estate books.
