I use Yelp and Urban Spoon for restaurants, tripadvisor for booking hotels, etc. Booking Buddy, and Waze on the road. And of course Google maps and Siri

Praful Thakkar - If travelling in a big group check out AirBnB.com for rentals on homes and condos. Great deals here.
For hotels, BestTravelCoupon.com - Kind of like a search engine for hotel rates. Searches everything on Expedia, Hotels.com and many more. Like Kayak but they search even more sites and beat Kayak on rates.
Both AirBnB & BestTravelCoupon have apps too.

For road trip I like iExit, gives you any food, gas etc. option and what exit they are at ahead. Great for if you like to limit your fast food to the healthier options.
