Moving from San Francisco to San Diego and starting my life & business over in 2003. New bride, new city, zero contacts/prospects. Greatest thing I could have done for my new marriage, my business & my soul. We all grew from it. I'm about to take another big one and start a team soon, blending 3 Realtors from 3 brokerages, into one new one, I'll keep you posted.

I've taken alot of risks in my lifetime, but I think what I'm most proud of is the risk I decided to take to get healthy.... to get a "fresh start" with my health.... it was physically VERY RISKY FOR ME....I only have one lung that inflates...every surgery I have is a risk.

I opened my first real estate office just out of law school with no experience in real estate sales or office management. 

Yes. Starting this business.

Even in the hardest of times sticking with building the business and putting every penny into something that at the time was not making money. Otherwise I'd probably be working an hourly wage job hating life, that is what everyones advise was to go get.

Leaving a comfy, cozy life in DE to chase dreams in CA.  No contacts, no business, and not even a license to work in CA, but I was determined. 

Yes, and since you did not ask us to tell what it is ... I'll remain silent on the issue. But, I am very very proud of it.

After I returned to the US from overseas and decided not to go back to work in the corporate world where I was in great demand but to work for myself in real estate--that was a big risk giving up a six figure income, bonuses, stock options, benefits. But it paid off.

When I left my home town and headed for the BIG city.

Enrolled in college.

Said 'Yes' to a sincere proposal.

Learned to ask, "Is there more?"

Learned to say, "Yes you can because....."

Everything else has proven insignificant.
