Don't think I've been asked about this.

If there were a need for a bomb shelter I really do not think it would do much good in our age of nuclear weapons.

After a bad customer stormed through town we all need a survial shelter if not a security blanket.

I had a couple of clients that told me where to go to find all types of these survival shelters and how to install them.

That is one question I have never been asked. I'd know some places to point them too though.

No, but if they did, I would suggest just building their own. I saw one built a few years ago near Leesburg. Seemed like a lot of expense for something that will probably never get used. They dug into a bank, poured 12" thick reinforced concrete wall, then veneered that with brick. Flat roof also was 12" concrete, waterproofed. Thick steel doors for access. I suppose that owner plans to stay for a long time.

I thought those went out of fashion in the 70's. Tornado shelters are popular in Texas, Oklahoma etc.

No but I recently saw a listing that did have one, and featured pictures of it. I think in our area it is more for tornado's.

Good morning William. I couldn't get any closer to one, there is on in my office building. We store closed mortgage files, so we put it to good use.

Not since the late 1960s. That's when they had the "duck and cover" drills in schools when we were worried about the Soviet Union. But now? Maybe against tornadoes?

William Feela - now that's something never happened to me ....(though some day someone may ask me that!)
